Well East-Southeast of the Hawaiian Islands: A broad area of low pressure is forecast to form over the next day or so about 1000 miles to the east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands. Environmental conditions appear favorable for gradual development of this system, and a tropical depression could form early next week. The system is forecast to move generally northeastward, remaining well east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands.
