South of Southwestern Mexico: A broad area of low pressure located about 800 miles south-southwest of the southwestern coast of Mexico is producing disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. Environmental conditions are conducive for development, and a tropical depression is likely to form late this weekend or early next week while it moves gradually north-northwestward and northward off the coast of southwestern Mexico.
