Invest 98E

Western East Pacific (EP98): Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low pressure located well west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula remain disorganized. Environmental conditions appear conducive for additional development of this system, and a tropical depression is likely to form this weekend as it moves westward at 10 to 15 mph across the western part of the East Pacific and into the central Pacific basin.
